When I was 14 I started a gym in my mom’s garage using money my grandma gave me to buy a squat rack and barbell (the rack is still in the gym today). I invited Colton (Now Co-Owner) and some other friends to join me and we unintentionally started training a bunch of kids from school. We ended up becoming a great community of people who rooted for each other, and had a blast in the gym each week.
We built friendships that would last a lifetime and I decided to always continue to pursue my passion. This led to us getting pretty strong and we won local weightlifting competitions, set state records and competed at the national championships. We decided to keep the name in remembrance of our humble beginnings.
Hunter Wooten
Coach
Hunter started lifting in middle school because he was tired of getting bullied for being “weak and small”. He put on some muscle, got strong and fell in love with helping others do the same. He’s been able to intern with coaches across the globe from Amsterdam to Mexico.
He stays a student of the game and has done over 160 movement assessments and is passionate about getting people fit for life, alleviating pain and helping people work through anxiety/depression.
Colton Dalzell
Coach
Throughout high school, Colton competed in local weightlifting meets, two youth national championships in the lower 48, and qualified for a 3rd nationals before abruptly suffering a severe lower back injury.
Colton then became devoted to learning injury rehab and prevention through exercise, which led to him completely alleviating back pain while getting stronger. He now pursues the opportunity to share that knowledge.
